I have been in Celebration mode since my last post. Why you may ask?
My 5th Wedding Anniversary came knocking on February 21st 2009. We had a family day out and I and the hubby had a long heartfelt talk on issues bothering us.
I also thanked God for his Grace, Blessing and Everlasting love for me and my brood.
After five years of a fruitful marriage I look back and heave a sigh of relief; saying we have crossed the very treacherous bridge.
Most Marriages that fail do so in the first 5 years, research says if you can cross the five year mark you are probably set to go the whole hog.... that is until death do you part.
I hope and pray we are in for the full duration of our time here on earth.
After five years and two beautiful kids and a loving husband I have a lot to be thankful for.
I am filled with abundant love for my husband and kids like I have never felt for anyone before. And mind you I was raised in a very loving home and we remain close to date. But what I feel now is far beyond comprehension.
When I stand and look back at my achievement in raising a family, I am bowled over with wonder for I never thought I would be successful at this.
Marriage always has good and bad days but we try to make sure we remember the good days when a bad day occurs.
Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary I say to us and to all of you out there who are in the same boat.
