Childcare: Who can you Trust?

Today I found my self in a real dilemma.
I had to pick my children early from School and I could not leave work and none of my siblings were available.

I found my self caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
I pondered on sending my Driver to pick them or asking him to go pick up my Maid so that they do the school run together. I eventually settled on sending both of them for the School run.
My major worry though was on the aftermat, when they had to go Home and be with her for several hours until I returned.

This was a first for me as I have never left my children with any Maid or Helper at home, I usually leave them in After School care or with family until I am ready to go home after work.

I took big girl pill and swallowed hard and told myself that my son was 4 years and my little girl was 2, that they would report any anomalies when I get back home.
I also prayed for their Safety and Health while at home without me.

Alas I got home several hours later and met Happy and Well Fed kids, who had run my Maid ragged.
It feels good to know that I could reliquish my hold over them for a bit and relax and pray that they are okay.

I am thinking of doing this more often so they can go home and rest and be healthy children instead of staying back everyday after school and getting home tired and worn out.

Wish me Luck!

REALY BIG DECISION INDEED, SOMETIMES IN THIS HARSH AND WICKED WORLD, AFTER HAVING GOTTEN BURNT SO MANY TIMES,. IT IS DIFFICULT TO TRUST PPLE AROUND US WITHVERY IMPORTANT ISSUES. BUT I SHOULD STATE THAT AT THE RISK OF LOSING BEING HURT , IT IS ACTUALLY HEALTHY TO TRY TO TRUST PPLE UNTIL THEY GV U A REASON NOT TOO.

AND SHARING THE BURDEN OF RAISING AND CARING FOR KIDS , MAKES THOSE MOMENTS U SPEND WITH THEM ALL THE MORE ENJOYABLE AND WORTH WHILE
